About the Business
Trading Hut has been established with the intention of providing an opportunity to purchase high quality, Fair Trade produced arts and crafts, accessories, homeware and jewellery from the developing world.
We are based in the town of Maidstone in the South East of England, and operate predominately as an e-commerce outlet however we do venture out on the road to attend craft fairs to promote fair trade. We have carefully assembled our range of products from accredited Fair Trade organizations who ensure that the artisans are paid a fair wage.
With all of our products we make sure that we know where our products come from and how and by whom they were created. With your support of Fair Trade we can ensure that the artisans, their families and their communities will receive a wage that reflects the true cost of raw materials and labour in the production of these wonderful crafts.
