About the Business
We think it's OK to admit that no-one looks good in a hairnet! Those unprepared for such a sight might easily find themselves haunted by buried memories of disagreeable dinner ladies or grumpy grannies. It's therefore only right and proper that we take a little time to reassure you that underneath the man-made mesh lurk two very normal, some might say likeable founders. Matt & Elinor first met over a few bottles of wine (a few thousand to be more accurate) during their former lives at a well-known wine merchant.
Although both had been merrily carving out their separate careers, it soon became very clear that our two future founders had a lot in common - they were in effect both well-informed winos with a taste for the finer things in life. Although the next few chapters are now little more than a happy blur, it would appear that Elinor whisked Matt away to travel around the world for some therapeutic winding down, whilst they wondered what to do next.
