Hi, I'm Claire, and The Curious Pancake is my baby. The Curious Pancake was born in 2011, emerging as a result of my lifelong love and study of illustration. I'm no minimalist and love to see illustration on everything from cups to tea towels to cards and jewellery, bags and more! The hand selected products you see in my shop have all been chosen by me because I love the humour, style or sheer originality of the design or illustration. I hope to continually bring you the very best in quirky contemporary illustration, cool gifts and beautifully designed cards. As our customer I want you to always be sure of finding something at The Curious Pancake that you have never seen anywhere else before!
The Curious Pancake takes its name inspiration from the phrase 'a most curious pancake' which appears in the wonderful book The Third Policeman by Flann O Brien.
