About the Business
As my expanding bespoke soft furnishing business needed new and larger premises the concept of Stripy Cow began. When the property in Station Road became available with the perfect size workroom behind an attractive retail unit. I had the idea of a gift shop - 'stuff for the heart and home'. I wanted to achieve an eye catching energetic shop front to reflect the products stocked within.
I wanted to create a catchy original name that had a true origin. So the name Stripy Cow was taken from 'Katie' a Friesian cow on my partner's farm that has the most unusual stripy markings.
