About the Business
Roy Doble jewellers started in Camborne in 1962. Roy trained as watch and clockmaker, and after several years decided to start his own business in Cross St, Camborne. We have since moved and our current shop is in Trelowarren St, where we sell a range of new and second hand jewellery, as well repair watches, jewellery and silverware.
Robin Doble served an apprenticeship in jewellery after leaving school, and also attended the Plymouth College of Art and Design.
Max Doble studied business studies at Exeter College, and a Jewellers Diploma at Truro College, and has worked in the jewellery business for over 30 years. He does many small repairs, as well as manage the Camborne shop and the website. Everyone multi tasks! He is also active with BID (Business Improvement District) in Camborne, who actively promote Camborne and the many services it offers.
