About the Business
Half Moon Bay is an award-winning wholesaler of licensed and themed giftware. We supply a vast number of retailers both large and small throughout the UK, Europe and sometimes the world!
The company began in 1995 by distributing unusual giftware products from the USA (Half Moon Bay is in California!), but the business soon moved into designing and sourcing its own products. Originally developing humorous and quirky gifts, we quickly became known for a love of retro classics and iconic licenses. The company is proud to be representing many of the world's best entertainment brands including Disney, Superman, Batman, Doctor Who, Sesame Street, The Muppets, Snoopy, VW and Star Wars.
The company expanded in 2008 when we acquired Robert Opie Trading Ltd, which used nostalgic images taken from The Robert Opie Collection on a diverse range of products. This gave the business distribution into the heritage, museum and traditional giftware retail markets.
