About the Business
Our story begins a decade ago while touring the Highlands of our beautiful country. We went off the beaten track and began to truly explore our amazing countryside, our Scottish history, our wee villages and our incredible crafters. Throughout our tour, we visited many wee shops and found that, while they usually offered one or two items from their local area, most were being seen as souvenir shops carrying Scottish themed items instead of Scottish made gifts. We decided that we wanted to showcase Scotland's talent and set out on a path to do just that! Ten years in the making, A Gift From Scotland was born and is the trading name of Gifts From Scotland Ltd. We are a family run business located in the wonderful village of Aberlour in the Northeast of Scotland. Aberlour is right in the heart of the Speyside Whisky Country which is home to over half of Scotland's distilleries.
